Why SEO for detailers costs less per lead over time
A Google Ads click for "ceramic coating" costs money every time. A page that ranks for it produces the enquiry for free, month after month. SEO is slower to start than ads, usually three to six months to meaningful movement, but each enquiry it produces reduces the blended cost per lead across the whole program, and it keeps working after the ad budget stops.
For detailers the work is specific: one page per service, real suburb pages for the areas you cover, a Google Business Profile that is complete and reviewed, and a site fast enough to rank. Nothing spun, nothing thin.
What our SEO for detailers includes
Technical audit and fixes
Speed, mobile, indexing, structured data and the errors that quietly stop pages ranking.
Service pages
Ceramic coating, correction, mobile, interior, PPF, tint: each written for its searches and its customer.
Suburb and area pages
Built around real search demand for the areas you serve, with local detail, not one template renamed.
Google Business Profile
Categories, services, photos, posts and reviews managed so you show in the map pack.
Cost guides and content
"How much does ceramic coating cost" and similar pages that rank and pre-qualify.
Reporting on rankings and enquiries
Which terms moved, which pages produced calls and forms, what is next.
How we run SEO for detailers
What SEO for a detailing business involves
Three layers. Technical: the site is fast, indexable and marked up correctly. Content: a page per service and per real service area, plus cost guides that answer the questions people search before booking. Local: a complete Google Business Profile with reviews and photos, which decides who appears in the map pack for "car detailing near me". Most detailing sites have none of the three done properly, which is the opportunity.
Service pages beat a services page
"Ceramic coating [city]", "paint correction near me", "mobile car detailing [suburb]": each is a separate search with separate competition, and a single page cannot rank for all of them. One page per service, written around what that customer asks, is the difference between ranking for nothing and ranking for the jobs that pay.
Suburb pages that are not spam
A suburb page earns its place when it says something true about that area: the roads, the salt air, the driveways, the jobs you have done there, the photos from them. Twenty near-identical pages with the suburb name swapped is exactly what Google's spam systems target, and it can hurt the whole site.
The Business Profile is half of local SEO
Categories set correctly (Car detailing service, not Car wash), every service listed, hours right, a steady flow of photos and posts, and reviews answered. Google's local results weigh relevance, distance and prominence, and prominence is largely reviews. The Business Profile page covers what management involves.
SEO and paid ads together
Ads produce enquiries from day one and tell us which searches convert; SEO then targets those searches so the enquiry stops costing a click. Over a year, the accounts that run both show a falling blended cost per lead, which is why Detail Up does not sell SEO on its own.
Standards we work to. Google Search Essentials (the baseline every page is built to); Google's helpful-content guidance (why real service pages beat spun suburb pages); Google's local ranking guidance (relevance, distance and prominence). Our own figures come from the accounts on the results page.
