What moves the number most

Three levers, each applied to your figures.

Lift close rate by 10 points→ 112 leads
Lift average job value by 25%→ 119 leads
Cut cost per lead by 25%→ saves $410/mo

Answering enquiries within five minutes and selling coatings alongside details move the first two levers; cost per lead is the one most agencies talk about and usually the smallest.

How to use a revenue goal to size detailing marketing

Start with the revenue you want the marketing to add, not the revenue you already have from repeat customers and referrals. Divide by your average job value to get jobs, then by your close rate to get leads. That lead count, at a realistic cost per lead for your market, is the marketing budget: ad spend plus management.

Two things change the answer more than anything an agency does. Close rate: a detailing lead called within five minutes books far more often than one called the next day, which is why the speed-to-lead guide matters more than any keyword. And job value: a business selling coatings and correction alongside details needs a fraction of the leads a wash-only business does to hit the same number.

The lead value calculator works the other way, from a lead to the profit it produces. On the call we use both, with the cost per lead from comparable markets on the results page, to set a starting budget for your territory.
